Ron Moore is a native of Amarillo, Texas and grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He is married and has four children. Ron is a graduate of Bellarmine University and in 1976 received his Master of Religious Education degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and was ordained to the gospel ministry. As Minister of Education, Ron oversees our Sunday School and Discipleship ministries. He also supervises our education ministry age-group staff. Prior to coming to First Baptist Church in 2005, Ron served churches in Tennessee, Texas, Florida, and Kentucky. Additionally, he worked as the youth associate in the Sunday School department of the Missouri Baptist Convention and edited youth Bible study materials for Lifeway Christian Resources. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf. His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.
