Easter Outreach

Many people who do not attend church on a regular basis will usually attend on Easter Sunday. Many of those people are also enrolled in Sunday School. Take advantage of this opportunity to invite people to Sunday School. Here are a few ideas: (1) Send everyone on your Sunday School roll a postcard inviting them to celebrate the Risen Lord in Sunday School and worship on Easter Sunday. (2) Assign names to class members and ask them to call or email someone. (3) Have a sunrise service just for your Sunday School class. (4) Enlist some people to provide some refreshments prior to class. (5) Use name tags for everyone so people can easily call everyone by name. (6) Have someone to greet and welcome everyone as they arrive. (7) Follow-up by calling all guests and people who have not attended recently and inviting them to attend Sunday School again next Sunday.
