When a new restaurant opens in town everyone wants to try it and see if it is any good. If it is a good place to eat people will tell others about the restaurant. A good word of recommendation goes a long way and influences others to give it a try.
Are you excited about your Sunday School class and church? If so, then you should be telling others and inviting them to come to Bible study and worship. The number of guests you have in your class each week is a good indication of how excited your class members are about your Sunday School class. If you seldom have a guest, then your class members need to do a better job of inviting their friends, relatives, work associates, and neighbors.
Inviting must be intentional. It will not happen if you are not thinking about it and intentional about inviting people to church. Take advantage of opportunities you have at the grocery store, the gas station, the drug store, the post office, the doctor’s office, the restaurant, or anywhere you go to invite someone to church. Take some church brochures with you and give them to people you encounter. Tell them how excited you are about your Sunday School class. What words would you use to describe your class? Enthusiasm is contagious. If you are excited, then those around you will become excited.
